Women’s Ministries seeks to nurture, empower and reach out to women within the Adventist circle and the broader community.

Every woman is called to know Jesus personally and passionately, and to use her gifts in discipling those around her.

Nurture

We seek to elevate women as people of inestimable worth, created and redeemed by their Saviour.

Women’s Ministries mentors young women, and creates paths for them to outlive their potential in Christ.

Empower

We empower each woman to pursue her calling and use her gifts in furthering the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20)

We believe that women bring unique perspectives to the issues facing the church and world at large.

Outreach

As we serve Jesus, we are empowered to share the good news with our families, fellow believers, and the unsaved world. As we move toward the Saviour we move toward each other, and we’re intentional about building a community of believers grounded in the message of the Cross and God’s grace to humanity.

We’ve identified six primary issues women face that are obstacles to becoming all that God has called them to be.

Women around the world are having facing real challenges. They have restricted access to suitable healthcare. They’re overworked – as well as being the primary childcare providers they make up over 90% of the world’s agricultural workers.

Progress for women is improving very slowly, but poverty continues to be a roadblock to a better life. Education for all is a basic human right. For women to achieve better health, nutrition, and quality of life for themselves and their families they need equal access to education.

Physical, sexual, and psychological battering happens to women of every age – young, elderly and in between. No part of society is immune from this epidemic of violence, and as a church we believe that tolerance of abuse is a denial of Christ.

Nearly one billion people in the world are illiterate. One out of every three women in the world can’t read and write. This impacts every area of their life – financially, socially and medically.

Our desire is to support women as followers of Jesus to take ownership of the burdens facing the global sisterhood around the world.
